We finally got all the wallpaper in the hall stripped off! Mum helped me with that while Dad and Chris pointed the fireplace in the backroom – that’s finished too now. Looks like we’re getting somewhere. The ceilings still need a bit or work to get all the lining paper off, but then we can paper them again – or find an alternative. We’re getting somewhere with the banisters, they need to be finished before we can wallpaper. So hopefully by the end of the year we’ll have one finished room! Then it’s on to the front room.

The bunnies are getting on very well. We let them out in the run together every night last week, and now they’re together in the hutch. There was a few tufts of hair when I cleaned them out yesterday but I think they’ve got things sorted out now. I’ve taken some photos of them together so I’ll upload those soon.

On Sunday we made yet another trip to B&Q – mortar to finish the fireplace off with. And spent most of the day working in the house – although I did find time to take a nap! We walked to evening ringing, which took an hour, thinking we could get a lift home with Heather or Howard. Unfortunately neither turned up so we had to get a bus home – but not before getting a curry. The buses don’t run very regularly on Sundays but we managed to get one without too much of a wait. There was a bit of drama on the bus, people shouting at each other etc. but it was a bus to one of the rougher areas of Hull so you expect that.
