Ringing Weekend

We spent most of this weekend ringing or in a tower. Saturday morning we had to get the muffles on the bells at Lowgate for Rememberance Sunday, then we went to Driffield and Hutton Cranswick for the BnD. Sunday we obviously rang at Lowgate twice but we also went to Elloughton for a Cambridge Practice with Howard. It was good experience for me too as I got a chance to ring Primrose, which is Cambridge with plain hunt at the lead end – so the bells come in a different order.

Monday night we went to Walkington practice and tonight we’ve got Lowgate practice, so I’ll be glad for a break from ringing on Wednesday!
