Bridesmaid Plans

We went to see Kate and Steve at the weekend, despite all our best intentions we’ve not seen them since our wedding last year. Kate was one of my bridesmaids and is planning to get married next year. Despite my news that I’m now four months pregnant she’s asked me to be a bridesmaid, I’m really excited about it, but also a little nervous. The wedding isn’t till August so the baby should be three months old by then, which will give me a chance to slim down a little. Poor Chris will have to look after the baby all day, although my Mum and Dad will be there so he’ll have a little help.

We had a very good weekend, didn’t spend too much time with Kate and Steve which was a shame, but we managed to get lots done around the house before we left. And on Sunday I bought a Christmas tree, our old one is fibre optic which I’m not a huge fan of… it’ll probably go in the back room next year (when we have a back room!). It’s a 6ft tall tree, and I got lots of gold and dark red baubles for it as well. I can’t wait to put it up, I think we’re waiting till the 10th December though. The tree in the tower will probably go up this week – as it was the first of advent last Sunday. Since we’ve got the problems with trinity I only get to put two trees up this year. Last year I had three trees to do, ours at home and two tower trees.

I love Christmas, I can’t wait for December – only two more days now! I’ve got a days holiday next week to go shopping in York with Mum, so I need to get thinking about presents!
