Nearly Christmas!

Dec 19, 2005

We had a quiet weekend as I’ve been feeling tired recently. It was my office Christmas party on Friday night but I’d not slept much on Weds and Thurs night and by 4.00 I was so tired I decided to go home instead. Chris and I ended up dozing on the sofa and watching Flash Gordon – so not a complete waste of time!

On Saturday we had a long lie in then went out to meet Lee-Ann, Dave and Bill for lunch. We had a good long chat and by the time we got home didn’t have time for much at all! We’d been invited to a race night at Ferriby which was a lot of fun even though we didn’t win much. We got a raffle prize which turned out to be a piece of ham and six eggs!

On Sunday we went ringing then did some Christmas shopping. We’d agreed to ring a quarter of Bob Major at Hessle which was going very well – fairly good striking and not many mistakes, unfortunately the choir had a practice in the vestry, they all filed past, which went ok. Then someone turned up late and started talking directly behind us. Unfortunately every one got distracted and we lost it in the last lead! There was a lot of talk about standing behind them and talking while they were practicing. It was very annoying as it was a first quarter in the method for one of the ringers.

I’ve got five more days at work till I break up for Christmas, but I’ve finished all my shopping so there’s not too much to do. Just wrapping and making more mince pies!

I want to...

Buy these for me.
Buy these and these for Tom.
Go to these places.
Do these things.
