Good Weekend

We had a good weekend this weekend, lots of energy and managed to do lots of things. The decorator finished in the hall and that now looks beautiful. There are a few more jobs to do – put up the coat hook, do the light upstairs, make a new door for the cupboard under the stairs, buy a carpet! But it looks fantastic, and makes a huge difference to the whole house. I’ll try to remember to take and post a picture when it’s all finished.

Also on Saturday morning we rearranged the kitchen so our dishwasher will fit in, I can’t wait for that to be done. I hate washing up with a passion! It looks like it’ll be a long time before we get a new kitchen so we thought we’d improve the old one a little.

On Sunday Chris had agreed to ring a peal (although he thought it was a quarter until the morning!) so I had the afternoon to myself. I went round a few garden centres and got some spring plants for tubs in the front garden and a grow bag green house for my tomato and pepper plants (that I hope will grow). I planted tomato, pepper and chilli seeds which will hopefully result in at least two strong plants of each… then in my other little greenhouse I’m planning to put grow bags with lettuce, beetroot and spring onions. I’ll report on my progress.
