Mothers Day

Last weekend was mothers day, I did very well as I got breakfast in bed! I still had to go ringing but it was a very nice way to start the day. We did the same as last year and had a very nice lunch at Rowley Manor with my parents, grandparents and Frank and Joan. The manor has recently changed hands and looks better for it. The rooms have all been given a lick of paint and all the photos advertising wedding photographers have been replaced with ones of the hall throughout it’s history.

After the meal we came back to our house to show Grandma and Grandad our newly decorated hall. Mum spent the day with us on Friday to help me get ready for the “royal visit”. We did wonders and now as well as having a decorated hall have a dining room! The garage is filled with stuff to take to the tip but we can sort that out another day!
