Being independent

Things are going great. I’m still not looking forward to Chris going back to work and being away three days a week but Tom and I visited Mum yesterday on our own so I know we’re capable of leaving the house when he’s away. I’m sure we’ll be ok. Now I just need to get use to the fact every time I hold the baby he wants to feed!

Sunday evening was fantastic, Mum and Dad came up and looked after Tom while we rang a quarter, then we had a drink with them in the 3JS, a quick feed for Tom at Lowgate and then tea at Pizza Express with James, Sarah and David. It was good to know we can still get out with the baby – he slept the whole time!
