We’ve had a busy couple of weeks. The trip to the lakes was fantastic – we went round some of our favourite places and having Tom along didn’t spoil it at all ;). We introduced him to the joys of wading by dipping his feet in Derwent Water, he didn’t seem impressed but made a lot less fuss than me. We had a good look round Keswick and had a lovely meal at The George, where we stayed. On the Sunday we went ringing at Crossthwaite and introduced him to the ringers there – we go enough to be known now and I visited while I was pregnant, after that we had a drive to Ambleside and a look round there too. Tom slept most of the time in the car, which meant he didn’t do too well at night but we managed to get some sleep.

Last weekend we went to Carl and Charlottes wedding which was lovely, it was nice to see everyone again. We’ve made plans to meet up when they get back from honeymoon. Their evening reception was at Sailmakers in town, a place I used to spend a lot of time. We didn’t stay too long in the party as the music was very loud, we sat outside in the beer garden for ages with Lee-Ann, Dave and Bill which was wonderful. Tom behaved very well and even had a nap while we were upstairs.

This weekend is the open weekend at the tower so we’ll probably be passing him around to lots more people, hopefully he’ll stay in a good mood!

At the moment he’s asleep on his gym, I might move him to the cot and try to get some sleep!

I want to...

Buy these for me.
Buy these and these for Tom.
Go to these places.
Do these things.
