Monthly Newsletter – Month Ten

This month really has flown by, as they all seem to have done. Tom seems to have spent most of this month poorly, he’s had a cold then sickness then another cold. I can’t remember a time his nose wasn’t running! At the moment he seems to be ok so we’re hoping we’ll have a break from it.

Runny Nose

Thomas still isn’t walking but he gets closer and closer every day. I think he’ll be a year before he’s walking but he might surprise us all and wander across the room any day now. He’s got lots of new toys this month including his favourite – a garage with cars. It’s got a lift which he can play with for hours, as long as there’s someone with him to make it go up and down. He also has a bucket and shapes for sorting, he’s not quite there yet but he loves putting things into the bucket and carrying them round.

Playing

This month Tom has started blowing kisses, which is the sweetest thing in the world. He also makes funny noises with his tongue. He has also started screeching when he sees someone he knows which is cute. It makes us feel wanted!

Off the hills

Tom loves his food and can feed himself toast, rice cakes, and lots of fruit – apples, grapes, oranges etc. We haven’t let him loose with a spoon yet. His favourite foods are petits filous and wheatabix. He loves his breakfast in the morning and is still eating two wheatabix every morning, now he cries when we take the bowl away which means he’s still hungry. So he usually gets some toast as well.

I want to...

Buy these for me.
Buy these and these for Tom.
Go to these places.
Do these things.
