Toms favourite words are radiator and no, no, no, no, no. He doesn’t ever seem to get tired of saying it. We can ask him any question and the answer is usually no. Have you had enough tea “no”, do you want some more “no, do you want to get down “no”, do you want some yoghurt “mmmmm!”.

He’s amazing at the moment, he knows radiators get hot and usually tells us that they are, he also thinks all drinks in cups are hot and most of our food is hot too. Everyone loves him, he’s such a friendly little chap and always has a smile for all. However he’s definitely starting to push the boundries, if we tell him not to touch something he often does it again while watching us to see how we react!

Thomas is starting to feed himself more and more, he can feed himself his breakfast with a spoon, although it takes a long time and he usually gets bored and needs help! He loves dipping things, though usually he’ll suck all the dip off rather than biting! He enjoys humous with pitta, grisini, carrot, cucumber etc. He has also started to get into soup and bread.

We’re decorating the downstairs at the moment which is a bit of an upheaval, Tom is enjoying it though as he loved Derrick who came to do the floor, he has learnt that ladders go to the ceiling, he says ladderr and then points to the ceiling. He tried to use the roller, but we didn’t let him have any paint. This was a good idea as he started pushing it round on the floor. He did have a go with paint on a brush and did very well painting a small patch of wall.
