Monthly Newsletter - Month Twenty Five

Jun 02, 2008

Our baby is definitely a two yea old now. He’s changed so much in the last few months. He has a fantastic sense of humour and is always trying to make us (or himself) laugh. He remembers things for such a long time – the mearest mention of Birthdays (not necessarily his) and he says “more presents?”. He also has routines that must be adhered to – or else. The bedtime routine is now upstairs for teeth clean, nappy change and sleepsuit on, milk and story (which he is very particular about choosing). Then we say goodnight to Daddy, it MUST be Mummy taking him to bed (or Nanna if he’s at Mums). Then we say goodnight to everything on the way up he stairs, looking back at Daddy through the bannisters, then he has to touch all his engines (stickers on his wall) look at the photos in the hanger, then he lays in my arms and I sing horsey, horsey and then daisy, daisy… then he’ll go in his cot (after a kiss). Bear goes on the right, bunny on the left, blanket on, another kiss, then music and light on his mobile… Then I can finally go downstairs and relax!! It’s quite a routine!!

This month has been very exciting as Thomas has finally started taking a slight interest in potty training. He’s even had two pees on the big toilet. I think the time has come to find some stars and see if we can make it a normal thing.

Toms vocabulary is coming along very well, he often uses sentances of four words “take it in kitchen” is one I can remember.

I want to...

Buy these for me.
Buy these and these for Tom.
Go to these places.
Do these things.
