Monthly Update - Month Twenty Seven

Aug 03, 2008

This months newsletter is a little late as we’ve been busy recently. Toms continuing to change every day – and learn new words at an incredible rate. He can have a conversation now and remembers things for a very long time. He’s still telling us about seeing a boat go under the bridge near us and it was weeks ago. “boat came” “bridge went up” “cars stopped”. It must have been very exciting for him!

We’re loving the summer and being able to play outside more. Tom loves his paddling pool – which he calls a swimming pool. The warm weather can make him tired and crabby though – which isn’t nice!

This monthTom has become fascinated with tractors and everything to do with growing grain. He loves combine harvestors (combine haaaaarvestor) and bales of straw, seeing any tractor and anything to do with it. I think we’re going to have to find a toy harvestor for him from somewhere. It’s made road journeys a lot more fun as there’s something else to talk about. Up to now it’s been different cars, and car transporters.

Tom has started to show more signs of being ready for potty training, which isn’t something I’m particularly looking forward to – but something that’s got to be done.

I want to...

Buy these for me.
Buy these and these for Tom.
Go to these places.
Do these things.
