Monthly Update - Month Thirty One

I’ve loved this month, Tom gets better and better (something I seem to say every month – but it’s true!). He’s very bossy, he loves telling people what to do and pointing, “No, don’t do that daddy”. It’s lots of fun, and he doesn’t seem to mind us laughing at him (which is good). He has a special way of saying Mummy and Daddy now, I’m not sure I can spell it, but it’s like MumMAaaay and DadDAaay.
Tom is getting very excited about Christmas, he loves to see the trees and lights in shops. I’m sure now December is here (or Decvember as he calls it) things are just going to get more and more exciting. Thomas is learning about the months and seasons, he knows it’s not autumn anymore, and that in autumn the leaves fall off the trees, he’s very excited about winter as that’s when you get snow, and Christmas of course. We had snow a few weeks ago and Tom loved to get out and build snowmen, we even taught him to throw snowballs.
Tom is getting more imaginitive, he sometimes pretends to be a dog, which is very funny. He’s crazy about dogs at the moment, and his favourite toy is a dalmation he calls Pongo. Today the carpet was fitted in Toms new room, we spent a long time pretending it was the beach, we had to put sandals on and bring his toy crab upstairs.
